As believers, our lifestyle, choices, and even entertainment should reflect this transformation.

If a non-believer in your contact list frequently posts film songs and you do the same, what sets you apart as a follower of Christ?

The Bible calls us to kill our worldly desires, carry our cross, and follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

When you indulge in worldly practices like listening to film songs, you blur the lines between light and darkness. While you may have taken baptism, your actions suggest otherwise.

Baptism signifies stepping out of darkness into the light, but sharing film songs reflects an attachment to the world.

A Call to Leave Worldly Practices Behind

The Bible emphasizes leaving behind worldly practices:

📖 “All things that belong to the world, leave them and follow Jesus Christ.”

The entertainment industry often promotes themes of darkness, depression, and vanity. When you had the option to live a worldly life, why choose to follow Christ if you still cling to these things?

The Role of Christian Leaders

This message isn’t just for youth but also for leaders. Whether you are a pastor, a family leader, or a role model in your community, your actions speak louder than your words.

If you listen to and dance to film songs, your family and followers will emulate you.

Setting a Righteous Example

Many Christian leaders themselves indulge in worldly practices—playing DJs at weddings, dancing, and celebrating in ways that do not honor Christ.

Such behavior tarnishes the faith and misleads others. If you can’t follow Christ with sincerity, it’s better not to take on the role of a leader.

A Life That Reflects Jesus

To share the gospel effectively, your life must reflect the teachings of Jesus. You can only propagate what you live for.

📖 Timothy’s letters in the Bible provide excellent examples of how to live and serve.

If you’re serious about your faith, avoid listening to or sharing film songs. Instead, align your life with Jesus’ example.
