How To Stop Being Attacked By Satan ?

How to stop being attacked by Satan

Praise the Lord Everyone,

Introduction

Hallelujah! Jai Masih! Welcome back to Youth ministry blog. Today we have something very important to share. Today’s message is especially significant, as it was given to me by God during prayer. I believe this blogpost has the potential to change the lives of many young people who are struggling spiritually.

Winning the Spiritual Battle: Equip Yourself with God’s Armor

The Enemy’s Attack and How to Respond

Many people reach out to me on social media, asking about Satan’s attacks—how he brings sadness, depression, negative thoughts, and other forms of spiritual struggle. They ask, “What should we do when Satan attacks?” It’s a common concern, but the Bible provides clear guidance on this. In Ephesians 6, it talks about the spiritual armor of God. This passage reminds us that our battle is not against humans, kings, or rulers. Our fight is with Satan’s spiritual forces. This is a spiritual battle, not one that can be fought with physical weapons, but only with spiritual ones.

Understanding Spiritual Warfare

Spiritual warfare is real, and the forces we fight against are invisible but powerful. They can manifest in many ways. For example, you might suddenly be bombarded with negative thoughts or feel overwhelmed by depression. These aren’t things you can see, but they are very real attacks from spiritual forces.

The Bible describes this as an atmik yudh—a battle of the soul. So, when Satan attacks you in your thoughts, dreams, or emotions, it’s important to remember that you are in a spiritual war. Many Christians have read the scriptures, but still don’t fully grasp the reality of this war. They continue to ask the same questions: “Why am I being attacked?” or “What can I do about it?”

What Does It Mean to Be in Battle?

Let’s break down what yudh (battle) means. In a war, both sides suffer losses. Soldiers get wounded, some may die, but the battle continues until one side emerges victorious. This doesn’t mean the winning side escapes unharmed, but their perseverance leads to victory.

Similarly, you and I are in a spiritual battle. But many Christians have forgotten that they’re in a war. While we may have forgotten, Satan hasn’t. He remembers that we are in a war, and that’s why he continues to attack us every day. However, we often forget to fight back. Instead, many Christians are asleep—neglecting prayer, the Bible, fasting, and church.

Christians Are Called to Attack

Here’s the truth: Christians aren’t just called to defend themselves; they are called to attack. The Bible tells us to actively resist the enemy. When you pray at night, read the Bible, fast, or share your testimony, you are attacking Satan’s army. He trembles and weakens when you stand firm in your faith.

Imagine a strong man slapping someone who doesn’t fight back. He feels powerful because no one challenges him. But when he finally slaps someone who fights back, he’s taken aback. Suddenly, he realizes he’s not as strong as he thought. The same applies to spiritual warfare. When Satan attacks you, if you don’t fight back, he’ll continue to think he has the upper hand. But if you resist him—through prayer, fasting, and living a life of purity—he will start to fear you.

Practical Steps for Spiritual Warfare

Many Christians are being attacked because they have forgotten to fight. Satan isn’t afraid of them because they aren’t standing up to him. But those who engage in spiritual warfare—those who pray fervently, fast regularly, and live in the power of God’s Word—cause Satan to tremble.

Here are some key ways to fight back:

1. Pray: Nighttime prayer is a powerful weapon against Satan’s army. Set aside time to pray every day, even if it’s just an hour. Prayer in other languages (speaking in tongues) is especially powerful.

2. Read the Bible: The Word of God is your sword. Dedicate time each day to read and meditate on scripture.

3. Fast: Fasting weakens Satan’s strongholds in your life. Regular fasting, even if just for a few days each week, is essential.

4. Testify: Share your faith and what God has done in your life. When you speak of God’s goodness, you weaken the enemy’s influence.

Stand Strong and Keep Fighting

Satan might knock you down, but you must get back up and fight harder. If you fall, pray and fast even more. The next time Satan tries to attack, he will think twice before coming after you, knowing you’ll retaliate with spiritual power. Over time, as you continue to resist, Satan will grow weaker in your life and eventually flee.

The Only Formula for Victory

There’s only one formula for overcoming Satan’s attacks: you must fight back with the spiritual weapons God has given you. If you neglect prayer, fasting, and the Word of God, you are leaving yourself open to defeat. But if you choose to stand and fight, you will experience victory.

Many people say, “I can’t pray.” But here’s the hard truth: if you refuse to fight, you’re allowing yourself to be defeated. You must pick up the sword of the Spirit—the Word of God—and engage in battle.

Conclusion

If a thief comes to your house, and you refuse to defend yourself, you can’t complain about being robbed. The same goes for spiritual warfare. You have to fight back. Set aside time every day for prayer, fasting, and studying God’s Word. In just a month, you will see a difference in how you handle spiritual attacks. You will begin to emerge victorious.

I believe that if you read this message repeatedly and apply it to your life, God will speak to you deeply and you will see transformation. Share this blog with others—on Facebook, WhatsApp, and wherever you can—so that more people can be saved and strengthened in their spiritual battles.

Praise the Lord,

God bless you all!
